An image of the letters AI sit on a keyboardTeaching@UW has expanded their AI+Teaching resources to help instructors guide students in developing an approach to AI that is intentional, discerning and focused on learning.

The AI+Teaching resources include strategies to help instructors communicate with students about AI and increase students’ motivation to develop their own skills and ideas. Key topics include talking with students about AI; developing AI-related course policies and expectations; centering learning when using AI with students; and using AI to help develop and refine course materials.

AI+Teaching also offers two different opportunities to connect with others on teaching and AI. Learn more about AI+Teaching: Using AI to Advance Learning, a four-week, asynchronous course designed to explore AI strategies that support learning and effective course design or join the AI+Teaching Faculty Learning Community, a monthly opportunity to further knowledge and connect with other UW faculty members around teaching and AI.
